10 mile walk - Llanrwst - Trefriw - Llyn Geirionydd - Llanrhychwyn Church - Trefriw - Llanrwst

Enjoyed a nice long, a little chilly walk with Dave and Toby today.  We headed out from Llanrwst and made our way up the hills behind Trefriw and to lake Geirionydd which was a lot choppier and fuller than when I last visited it.  We navigated through forests and arrived at the old church of Llanrhychwyn.  We had a look inside.  I doubt if anything has changed for a number of decades!  It was so cosy and full of history.  We then climbed up a very large hill to be greeted by a fantastic view the other side! (pics below).  Unfortunately the route down was a bit treacherous - wet, mulching leaves, moss and exposed and lose rock.  Admittedly we both fell over at least two times, luckily narrowly missing a large rock.  We had to carry the dog down as it was too dangerous.  It took us 4 hours to complete the walk, not too bad considering all the hills!
